Word and PowerPoint files are read locally and the Excel workbook is generated locally. The production tools do not upload source documents or generated workbooks.

What stays local

File names, document content, comments, authors, replies, tracked changes, slide text, and generated workbook bytes remain on the device.

What events contain

Session-local events use safe categories, size buckets, duration buckets, result types, and stable error codes. They do not contain private source text.

What to avoid

Do not use the tools for encrypted files, unsupported macro-enabled formats, or review data that must be preserved beyond the stated coverage.
